Viewing Party

Host a Viewing Party

Invite friends, family and neighbors to watch Veiled Voices with you when it airs in your area.  Holding a viewing party of Veiled Voices can provide an excellent format to bring people of different view points together.

Here's how to do it:

  • Find out when Veiled Voices is screening in your area.
  • Download the Viewing Guide for discussion topics to help guide your dialogue.
  • Invite friends or members from your community or group.
  • Share through food; perhaps make some Middle Eastern food or hold a potluck.

After watching the film, use the discussion topics as a launching point for a dialogue within your group.  Remember, holding a dialogue is about creating a space for the exchange of ideas and for individual reflection.

By watching the film together and then discussing key topics your group can work to promote peace and intercultural understanding.

Afterwards, take your discussion online.  You can participate in our discussion forums, visit our Facebook page, or participate in LinkTV’s “real conversations” and ask Director Brigid Maher a question.
